Promotion & media

The IRU World Congress will address a range of challenges and opportunities in transport, mobility and trade. Leaders from industry and government will be joining the debate.

IRU’s media and communications teams are working closely with Asyad and partners on media and social media outreach across multiple platforms, including broadcast, live streaming and video, print media and online engagement. This will happen before, during and after the Congress, to broaden our audience and to project the event onto the world stage.

IRU Media Prize

Recognising significant contributions from the media to the transport sector debate, the IRU Media Prize will be announced in Oman during the World Congress. This year’s honour is around the theme of “the future of transport and trade”. Tying in with the event's focus on “innovation on the move”, the piece must offer valuable insights into the road transport industry’s future and ideally link this to the wider context of geopolitical developments, trade and technological innovation.

The competition is open to all journalists across the globe from the international and regional media, who publish or broadcast original reports.
