The global road transport community will gather in Berlin, from 19 to 21 October 2020, to take stock of progress in the transport industry and pave the way for new solutions.
Intelligence on the move
This year’s theme will look at new technologies:
How will they affect us on a human level?
How are people likely to respond to and use new technologies in the mobility and logistics sectors?
How can we promote smart innovation that builds on local knowledge and best practices?
Over the course of three days, the industry’s key players – opinion leaders, regulators, transport associations and transport and logistics companies, will gather in Berlin to discuss these questions and more.
IRU, the world’s road transport organisation, represents the voice of 3.5 million companies operating mobility and logistics services globally. Using its network and global reach, the IRU World Congress aims to:
- Tackle the challenges and trends linked to innovation and the future of transport, mobility, trade and logistics.
- Provide first-hand insights into upcoming market disruptions and how to address them.
Offer high-level networking opportunities through an interactive programme.
Help to expand business opportunities within the road transport industry.
Who will attend
Organised under the patronage of the German Ministry of Transport, the IRU World Congress will welcome over 1,000 attendees from more than 80 countries, 25 ministerial delegations and over 10 international organisations.
